As part of On the Square, we are thrilled to announce a unique collaboration with iconic footwear designer Tracey Neuls—a shoe crafted from the very fabric of the house’s curtains, merging history, craftsmanship, and design into a singular, wearable piece of art. This limited edition of just nine pairs embodies the essence of On the Square: celebrating found materials, heritage, and reinvention.Tracey Neuls’ story is one of dedication to craft and creative integrity. Since launching her brand in 2000, Neuls has built a reputation for designing confident silhouettes that stand the test of time, focusing on authenticity, emotional connection, and unparalleled comfort. Each pair of her shoes is sculpted from plasticine before being meticulously handcrafted, a process that highlights her commitment to artistry over fleeting trends.
This collaboration is rooted in a deep creative bond. Over 20 years ago, Irenie and Tracey connected over their mutual passion for design, with Irenie even selling her computer to buy her first pair of Tracey Neuls shoes—an unforgettable beginning to a friendship built on a shared appreciation for craft. Fast forward to today, and the house at On the Square has become the perfect setting to capture Tracey Neuls' SS25 collection. Among the shots, the backdrop curtain itself was transformed into footwear—a limited edition ‘On the Square’ shoe.
With just a limited run of pairs created, this collaboration is a rare fusion of fashion, history, and place—breathing new life into the fabric of the house, quite literally. Over the coming weeks, We will be accepting orders but for now enjoy their absolute beauty.
