Crafting with Kvadrat: A Partnership in Texture and Time
Introducing our partners: Kvadrat, the danish textile house comes on board to show case found stock in a found home.
From their deep roots in Scandinavian design to their global influence on contemporary interiors, Kvadrat has spent decades honing their craft. Their fabrics and materials have graced some of the most innovative spaces, and now, their artistry is woven into the very fabric of On the Square.
We had the incredible opportunity to work with Kvadrat’s extensive catalog of dead stock and found materials—sourcing, reimagining, and breathing new life into spaces through textiles that hold history within their fibers. From soft, muted textures to bold, structural forms, Kvadrat’s influence can be found throughout the house, subtly enhancing the interplay of light, shadow, and movement.
In keeping with our ethos of co-creation, we are thrilled to hint at a special collaboration that has emerged from this partnership: bespoke pieces designed by the visionary Tomoyo Tsurumi. More on this will follow in next week’s newsletter, where we’ll unveil the artistry and ingenuity behind her work.
For now, we celebrate Kvadrat’s presence within On the Square—where heritage meets contemporary design, and where every thread has a past and a future.
